Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 13, 2026 • Effective Date: October 1, 2026

At Ednex Academy ("we", "our", or "us"), accessible via https://ednexacademy.com, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors, prospective students, and enrolled learners. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, disclose, and secure your personal information.

Summary: We do not sell your personal data. We only collect details required to deliver your learning curriculum, process brochure requests, provide academic mentorship, and maintain student support.

1. Information We Collect

When you interact with Ednex Academy through our web inquiry forms, course popup modals, or admissions counselors, we collect only the information necessary to evaluate your learning interest and provide course guidance:

  • Applicant Identifiers: Your full name, mobile number, WhatsApp contact number, and optional email address submitted during admissions counseling inquiries or syllabus brochure requests.
  • Course Preferences: Interested technical training program (e.g. Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Cybersecurity, Web Development), geographic city/state, and learning background.
  • Technical Transmission Metadata: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser referrer URL, and timestamp captured automatically upon form dispatch to verify submissions and prevent automated spam.
  • Client-Side Storage: Essential browser storage used solely to remember your UI preferences (e.g. sessionStorage to prevent repetitive popup displays during a visit, and localStorage to safeguard pending inquiries if network connection drops).

2. How We Process & Deliver Your Inquiries

We process incoming inquiries through a verified, secure pipeline:

  • Admissions Counseling: Inquiries are transmitted to our admissions desk via secure email (academy.ednex@gmail.com and hello@ednexacademy.com) and pre-filled WhatsApp links so our learning advisors can contact you with batch schedules.
  • Local Audit Logs: Submitted leads are recorded in a secure, access-restricted server directory (data_secure/ protected with server-level access rules) to maintain an audit trail and prevent lost inquiries.
  • Syllabus Delivery: We immediately deliver official PDF course brochures for your chosen program upon form submission.

3. Data Protection & Third-Party Services

Ednex Academy does not sell, trade, or rent personal learner information to advertising networks or third-party marketing companies. Data is handled strictly through:

  • Communication Gateways: WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) and Google Workspace / Gmail for direct counselor-to-applicant communication.
  • Optional Google Apps Script Integration: Secure webhook dispatch to admissions tracking sheets where configured by administration.

4. Your Data Rights & Choices

As a prospective or enrolled learner, you have clear rights regarding your personal records:

  • Access & Review: You can request a summary of the contact information we hold for your inquiry.
  • Correction: You can request updates to your mobile number, email, or course selection at any time.
  • Deletion / Erasure: You can request the removal of your contact details from our counseling queues by emailing us.
  • Communication Opt-Out: You may opt out of WhatsApp or phone counseling at any time by notifying our advisor or replying "STOP".

5. Data Security

All communication between your browser and our website is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS / HTTPS). Server-side endpoints enforce honeypot anti-spam verification, input sanitization, and strict directory access rules.
